Our “Giving Tree” is the beautiful painted mural in the Communication Center. It is a 2-way message board making members aware of needs in our community. With specific requests written on leaves (or snowflakes in the winter) we alert the congregation to a wide variety of causes and the items they need.

Recent Giving Tree requests have included clothing, food, books, personal care items and small kitchen appliances for Siena/Francis House, Compassion in Action, and the Open Door Mission. Other organizations helped are Child-Saving Institute, Crossroads Connection Ministry, First Presbyterian’s “Operation Bridge” and Westminster Presbyterian’s Pantry.

Anyone can add a request by writing a need on a paper shape (provided) and affixing it to the tree. When someone brings items to fill a need, they can remove the note from the tree and fasten it to the donated item/s to designate where it should be delivered.
