Prison and the transition back to life outside can be overwhelming for inmates.  Crossroads Connection works to bridge the gap in the current penal system by helping former inmates find their way back into society through caring support of Christ's followers.

Omaha area churches have come together to support the ministry that Crossroads Connection provides.  From regular worship services for inmates and their families, to providing transitional housing for former inmates re-entering society, inmates find a support system with the goal of helping them rebuild their lives.

PCM is one of about 20 churches who partner with Crossroads. We lead worship and provide a fellowship meal afterwards several times during the year and occasionally host the Crossroads worship service in our church. The PCM vus is used weekly to transport inmates from the Work Release Center to Underwood Hills Church for worship services and the fellowship meal.

There is an opportunity to become a trained transportation sponsor to help work release inmates get to worship, job interviews, and work. We support the Crossroads food and clothing pantry with donated food, clothing, and direct financial support. In addition, PCM continues to host the Crossroads Connection website on its extra web space.

If interested in helping prepare or serve the fellowship meal, please contact Deb Doane @402  898-0050. If interested in other aspect of assisting with the Crossroads ministry, contact Guy Shelton @ 402 699-1950.
